Swimming lessons

White Oak Leisure Centre runs a full programme of over 40 swimming classes and courses designed for everyone from the babe in the arms to the adult non-swimmer.

Taught by our experienced and qualified instructors, our trained team of staff will be pleased to help you select the class or course most suitable for you or a member of your family.

The STA, who are the only swimming organisation that incorporators a comprehensive water safety programme into its teaching and learn to swim qualifications, believe that the number one reason for teaching water safety is to save lives by reducing the number of deaths by drowning.

Thursday 23rd May

On Thursday 23rd May White Oak Leisure Centre will once again be hosting the annual District Schools Swimming Gala. As a result the main pool and the teaching pool will be closing at 5pm. Diving Lessons and the diving club will continue as normal in the diving pit. Hartley Swim Club will be in as usual from 9 - 10pm.
