Archery at White Oak Leisure Centre

Historically, archery has been used for hunting and combat, while in modern times, it's main use is that of a recreational activity. A person who participates in archery is typically known as an "archer" or "bowman", and one who is fond of or an expert at archery can be referred to as a "toxophilite".

If you fancy getting into archery we have just the thing for you. We hold 7 week archery courses so that you can learn all the skills and progress through the levels.

Learn how to shoot a bow and arrow with a target. Do you have what it takes to become a FITA Certified archer and gain your FITA arrow and feather awards?

Why not give it a try? You might be a natural!
