Over the summer holidays, swimming lessons were happening across all of our centres with children working hard each session to improve their swimming abilities and have fun. As part of our Summer NR-Gize programme, Sencio Community Leisure ran summer swimming lessons for aged 4+ in multiple abilities. From non-swimmers to intermediates, many children took part in these lessons to become excellent swimmers.
We wanted to say a huge congratulations to Theo Hinds and Imogen Side from the beginners class who won the STA (Swimming Teachers Association) Stanley swimming award for ‘Most Improved Swimmers’ over the course of their lessons. Imogen and Theo worked hard to obtain this title and we congratulate them!
Also a huge well done to Imogen Swain from our improvers lesson, who also won the award for ‘most improved swimmer’ in her class. Well done to all of them!
