Swimming at Edenbridge Leisure Centre
Lane swimming:
- The main pool will be divided into lanes of fast, medium and slow
- Lane swimming is open to children age 8+
- Backstroke is prohibitied
Family swimming:
- Family swim sessions will be available in the main pool and the teaching pool
- The teaching pool will be limited to two families at one time
- The main pool will be limited to 7 families at one time
- A family is a maximum of 4 people including at least one adult
- Standard under 8s rules apply
70+
- Swim session for the over 70s
- Vulnerable adults also welcome
Express swim
- Adults only 30 minute lane swim
Changing and showering:
- Changing booths will be available
- Lockers will not be available
- Limited showers will be available post-swim
- Please arrive wearing your costume and exit the centre promptly via designated exits once your session has ended
Under 8s swim rules:
During family swimming, children under the age of 8 must be accompanied into the water by a responsible adult over 16 years old. There must be:
– a minimum of one adult to two children where children are 4 years or younger
– maximum of three children to one adult where at least two children are over 4 but under 8 years of age
Children under 8 are not permitted to attend lane swimming.
